Abortions?

What do you think about Abortion of babies? I think its pretty sad, the killing off of a poor innocent child. I honestly think, if you want to do the nasty so badly, please use a condom and go on birth control. Babies that are being aborted could be the next president! You never know what could happen in life.

If you're against abortion you think it's right for a young teenager who was raped to have to care for a BABY? At the least, put it up for adoption? That one teenagers life would be ruined for nine months, because she couldn't have an abortion.
She can't be studying in school during labor, like it should be.

Condoms break, birth control pills don't always work. Adults cannot be stopped from making love- it's human nature. If they know they won't be able to properly care for a baby like the way it might deserve, they should be able to abort.

Until the fetus is completely out of the mother, it's not considered a child yet. By the time of abortion, the fetus often still has minimal organs and wouldn't *know*. It takes eight weeks (see source) for a fetus to even have it's body systems intact, a pregnancy should be noticed and if needed aborted by eight weeks.

If an incapable parent has a kid, what are the chances of it becoming a president? Being raised properly during your childhood is such a vital role in your future.

Good points, but a baby was born. It must have a reason to be alive, just like everyone else on this world. Everyone fits into a catagory, and everyone does everything different. That is their destiny. Getting raped is a psychological problem, and it will cause further problems with your psychological self. So is getting an abortion. There are medical complications with abortions, which maybe the mother cannot even have a baby with somebody else.

If they know the facts, they can abstain. If they want to have love, they should do it with a mature person. If they get raped, maybe its an excuse to get an abortion. But like I said, the baby must have a reason to be alive, like every other person on this planet. Honestly, getting an abortion if you are raped is a good excuse. It shouldn't be banned for that reason, but there is complications.

A therapist for a young teenager who just got raped would most definitely recommend abortion. Do you think it's better that this adolescent is caring for a child, which she is probably incapable of, without a father and already the psychological effects of rape? A parent most likely would want there own kid to get abortion in this situation, to avoid the side effects of abortion and then the painful labor which is better off later in life. With any medical procedure, the benefits out-way the side effects and risks.

Does it really matter how mature the other person is? Even with both participants practicing safe sex (using a decent condom, and birth control properly) pregnancy is still possible.

Abortions are a good advance in medical history. If you have been raped wouldn't you like to not have a child? People should be able to control themselves.
